Medieval copper alloy key fragment. Length 64mm, width 10mm, thickness 8mm, with a weight of 25.35grams.

The object has a hollow circular sectioned shaft which is flattened and incomplete at one end. The other end contains a rectangular bit measuring 30mm x 11mm. This has an S shaped profile (damage?)when veiwed from above and has several small notches removed from its lower edge.
