A flint notched flake of possibly early Neolithic or late Neolithic date (c. 4000 - 2700 BC). The notched piece is a tertiary flake with no cortex present on the surface. The dorsal face has three negative flake scars on the dorsal surface from previous flake removal. One of the scars is deep and create a central ridge running through the surface. The striking platform is broadly lozenge-shape with a low and diffused bulb of percussion and a marked bulbar scar on the ventral face. On the mesal are some traces of a possibly short scaled and semi-abrupt retouch. Under the distal end is a concave notch which create a functional projection. Notched pieces and combination tools appear in the Nolithic period usually combining a scraper and notch or scraper and piercer. The flint is traslucent grey with some white spots.
The lithic implement is 52.81mm in length, 30.87mm in width, 9.78mm in thick and weights 14.44g.
Similar combination tools are illustrated by Butler, C. (20050, pp. 131 and 169.
