Lead musket ball. Cast ball, probably slightly distorted, with a flattened patch of diameter 8.5mm possibly from a ramrod, and with a flattened circumferential belt from set up; patinated. The mass, at just over an ounce, may suggest this to be for use with a smoothbore muzzle loading firearm of military specification. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1800.
