Medieval copper alloy buckle with the pin missing: an oval frame (20 x 24mm) with an offset, narrowed bar which protrudes at the sides and an ornate straight outside edge with three knops and two ribs between, the central knop divided by a pin groove; square sheet plate (15.5 x 15.5mm) with frame recesses, a pin hole and two rivets. Overall length 30mm. Late 13th - 14th century.
