A fragment of a ceramic vessel of Roman date. The vessel is a rim sherd from a local (unsourced) miscellaneous greyware jar. The fragment is rectangular with a projecting rim. The fabric is fairly hard and gritty with a smooth feel. It is a mid-grey colour throughout.
The fragment is 40.8mm long, 24.8mm wide, 13mm thick and weighs 16.6g.
