A fragment of a ceramic vessel of Roman date. The vessel is a rim sherd from a local (unsourced) miscellaneous greyware dish/vessel. The fragment is sub-trapezoidal with a slight projecting rim much of which has been lost to worn breaks. The fabric is fairly hard and gritty with a smooth feel. It is a mid-grey colour throughout.
The fragment is 60.1mm long, 39.6mm wide, 11.9mm thick and weighs 28.4g.
