A copper-alloy medieval French jetton, dating to the period AD c.1415-c.1497. The jetton is a Tournai (late) Shield of France Modern type. The obverse depicts a Shield of France containing three fleurs de lis and surmounted by either a star or an annulet flanked by a pellet on either side. The legend bears the inscription AVE MARIA GRACIA. The reverse depicts a cross fleuretty dividing the legend with an annulet in each of the four angles. There is an inscription on the reverse but much of it is too worn to discern. The jetton has been pierced at the left hand top edge of the shield on the obverse. Overall the object measures 25.5mm in diameter and weighs 2.61g.

The object is similar to CORN-D5836B and SUSS-C8FB41 on the database, though the design of the cross fleuretty is different.
