A Post Medieval silver shilling of Queen Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603), dating AD 1591-4. North no. 2014. Obverse depicts bust of the queen in profile facing left, inscription reads ELIZAB D G ANG FR ET HIB REGI. The reverse depicts a long cross fourchee over a square top shield. The inscription reads POSVI / DEV . AD / IVTORE / M . MEV. There is a tun initial mark on both sides. Minted at the Tower of London.
