Copper alloy mount. Long narrow cast bar mount with a bevelled or keeled display face and with a squat rounded knop at either end. The knops are both drilled from the back, producing a tapered hole of diameter c.2-1mm at one end, for rivets of diameter 1.4mm and length 4.5mm (one lost). Diagonal file marks remain on the back; the display face is worn. Overall, the execution is neat and of high quality. Suggested date: Medieval, 1230-1350.
