An incomplete iron rowel spur dating to the later medieval or early post-medieval period. The spur retains part of the heel fitting and one short length of arm, which curves sharply downwards fom the heel bar. In the centre of the heel bar the rowel arm extends but it is broken and incomplete and the rowel is missing. The spur has suffered some corrosion. Suggested date c. 1400-1600 AD, however it could be later too as the form was in use for a number of years.
