A fragment of flint flaked and partly polished/ground axe. Off-white flint with heavy iron staining and matt surfaces. The pointed butt only remains. The rest of the axe has been broken off laterally.There are remnants of flaking scars from the margins on both faces.The edges of the axe are polished and faceted. There are areas of polish towards the centre of the faces. The axe has a pointed oval cross section.
