Copper alloy key. Cast rotary key, probably for a casket. A stem of straight-sided oval section has a round bow at one end and, thickening towards the other end, a rectangular bit with a cleft in front and behind. The end of the stem is drilled. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1350.
