A complete copper alloy post-medieval British or continental square coin weight for an angel. Both faces are heavily corroded. One probably shows St. Michael spearing the dragon, but it is not clear whether this is a double-sided or uniface weight. Without this information the weight can only be broadly dated from the reign of Elizabeth I through to the 17th century (Withers and Withers 1995, 22).
