Medieval copper alloy locking buckle with a pin notch and, on the globular terminal of the locking arm, four oblique grooves. Frame 29.3 x 16.4mm. Overall length and width 31.5 and 36.5mm. Cf. Ward Perkins 1940, pl. LXXVII, nos. 11 and 12. Mid 14th - 15th century, but examples have been found in 16th-century contexts in London (Egan 2005, 37-8, nos. 116-7).
