A ceramic body sherd from a Roman greyware vessel dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. The sherd is irregularly shaped and has old breaks on all edges. The fabric is dark grey in colour with an oxidised red core. It has abundant mica temper.
The sherd measures 39.94mm in length, 49.19mm in width, is 6.29mm thick and weighs 14.30g.
