Incomplete medieval copper alloy composite tongue-shaped strap end with a full-width spacer, with most of one outer sheet plate missing (with only that part near the outside edge present). Of three rivets one through the knop, one in the centre and one near the attachment edge, the last is missing. Before the knop there are five cut-outs on both sides, small rectangular, large rectangular, two small V-shaped and a another large rectangular. At the knop a fourth element is attached to the front with a rivet, a cast bifid plate with one transverse and two oblique grooves. The knop is similar to that on an example from Norwich (Margeson 1993, no. 234). Length 66mm. Width 10.3mm.
