An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval single loop buckle with roller, dating to c. AD 1350-1400. The buckle is rectangular in plan and has a the remains of a sheet metal roller wrapped around the strap bar; the sides are expanded and the pin is intact. A similar buckle can be found in Whitehead ( 2003) p. 27, no. 138.The length is 25mm and the weight is 3.05g.
