A worn short cross penny of Henry II (r.1154-1190), class 1b (North No. 963) minted at London by Ravl between 1180AD - c.1189AD. Obv: Facing bust with sceptre, 5 pearl crown, crescent hair curls, more curls right. Rev: voided short cross with quatrefoils in each angle. Obverse is very worn, particularly the bust and legend from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock.
Measurements: 18.88mm, 1.27mm thick and 1.24g in weight.
