An incomplete lead Weight/Token of Post-Medieval date (AD 1550-1750). The object is disk shaped and flat in form with a shallow inscribed initials of CI//II and a central raised pellet, below which is an inscribed circle with an illegible . The reverse of the weight is uninscribed.
This is a lead trade weight of Post-Medieval date. The initials CR relates either to Charles I or II, the inscription is shallow and done by hand so this may be a homemade weight. Its current weight is 35.20g and does not directly correspond to the avoirdupois system or known coin weights.
The metal is a greyish cream in colour with a smooth patina.
