Early Medieval small long brooch fragment made from cast copper alloy. Only the foot survives, with a flat flared terminal separated from the rest of the foot by five, irregular transverse lines. Above the terminal are two lateral projections or lappets. The catch-plate survives on the reverse of the lappets, and does not extend to the area behind the five transverse lines. Length 29.6mm, Width 13.3mm, Thickness 1.8mm, Mass 3.69g
