Post-medieval bar mount, probably from harness. Tongue-shaped plate with projecting lobe at pointed end, the face sub-divived by two longitudinal and multiple transverse cross-hatched lines forming multiple lobes on both sides. Stumps of two integral outward-bent spikes on reverse. Length 27mm. Width 9.5mm. 2mm thick. 17th century.
