A complete post medieval cast copper alloy pedestal/pendant seal matrix dating AD 1600-1800. The face of the die appears lead alloy and is oval with an incised device of a rampant lion or dog facing right inside an oval beaded border. It has a conical handle with an oval cross-section, which extends upwards from the back of the die, and tapers before flaring out again at the junction with a flat trefoil-shaped terminal. This terminal has three circular perforations across its width, one larger perforation above forming a suspension loop, and a knop at the apex. The handle is slightly bent relative to the oval face.
