A copper-alloy post-medieval mount or draw escutcheon, likely dating c.1600-1800. The mount is roughly shaped like six-pointed star, slightly concavo-convex at its centre. The 'points' of the star are curvilinear, each resembling a bell or petal with a knop at its narrow end. A rectangular perforation measuring 6.5mm across is in the centre of the mount. The object has a mid green patination with patches of brown dirt still covering it and very very occasional turquoise oatches of more intense copper corrosion.
Measurements: 38.36mm high, 31.85mm wide, 3.23mm thick and 7.92g in weight.
