An incomplete and corroded post-Medieval copper-alloy and gilded mount (c. 1600-c. 1700).
In plan, the mount is roughly circular. It has a floriated design at the front and is flat and plain at the rear. At the rear are the stubs of two integral spikes, circular in cross-section
The object is reddish brown with flecks of gilding at the front.
