Toffee brown flint with cortex, the surface of which might suggest collection from the East Coast, sickle. Thin flake with broad flake struck from its dorsal side and with a rippled ventral surface. Both long edges bear angled invasive scalar retouch executed from the dorsal aspect, as does the shorter side between them; the straighter edge bears similar retouch executed from the ventral aspect. Although short, this does not appear broken from a larger or longer object; a spur projects at the base of the longer cutting edge. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC.
