An incomplete struck flint bladelet of probable Mesolithic date, dating c. 8000-4000 BC. The bladelet, manufactured on flint which is light brownish grey in colour, retains c. 30% cortex on its dorsal surface and a single prominent dorsal arrise which runs down the central axis of the piece. Both the proximal and distal end have been broken away, possibly intentionally. At the proximal end on both lateral edges, very fine retouch is visible (possibly friction retouch) some of which may be as the result of use.
