An incomplete copper alloy stirrup, dating to the later medieval period, AD c.1230 to 1450. The object consists of the attachment end of the stirrup. With a trapezoidal cover-plate which sits in front of the suspension bar, which is narrower. On the upper, narrower edge of the cover-plate the stirrup is decorated with an crenulated edge. One of the arms of the stirrup is worn and broken, the other descends down before ending in a worn break. The stirrup has a light green patina, the measurements are not available.
Similar stirrups can be seen in Clark 1995, pages 72 to 74.
