A group of six pieces of debitage, waste material from flint working, of probable Mesolithic to Neolithic date, about 9000 BC - 2200 BC. There are five chunks and one flake. Two are water worn and one is burnt. Three are secondary and three tertiary.
Number 2: Secondary chunk of water worn grey flint with some edge damage and removal scars. Grid co-ordinates within the 100m square: 22, 95. Found 26/09/2015.
Number 6: Secondary chunk of patinated white flint with patches of cortex. Removal scars. Grid co-ordinates within the 100m square: 39, 51. Found 08/10/2015.
Number 7: Secondary chunk of patinated yellow grey flint with some cortex. Removal scars. Grid co-ordinates within the 100m square: 74, 18. Found 08/10/2015.
Number 8: Tertiary burnt chunk of flint heat altered to white with a crazed surface. Removal scars. Grid co-ordinates within the 100m square: 93, 49. Found 08/10/2015.
Number 9: Tertiary flint flake of mottled grey flint. No retouch. Grid co-ordinates within the 100m square: 87 02. Found 16/10/2015.
Number 11: Tertiary flint chunk of light grey, patinated and water worn flint. Some edge damage and removal scars, but no clear retouch. Grid co-ordinates within the 100m square: 78, 65. Found 16/10/2015.
