Incomplete medieval copper alloy spur buckle, an oval frame, integral plate and wire pin. The plate tapers from the frame past the pin hole, two slight lateral notches and one rivet hole to an old break. From the notches to the break the sides are chamfered. Extant length 25mm. Width of frame 14mm. Width at break 4.5mm. 13th - 14th century.
