Early Medieval cast copper alloy, small long brooch of Leeds 'cross potent' type, damaged with some loss of detail. The brooch's bow is keel-shaped with a flat underside, the foot of the brooch is missing, the bow is defined by facets at each end. The spring was secured by a single lug, now obscured by iron corrosion products from the pin. Length 30.3mm, Width 21.5mm, Height 8.0mm, Mass 6.25g.
