A very worn copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is as Meols type 2 with D-shaped frame that has an expanded triangular outer edge, and offset and narrowed cylindrical bar. All of the original surfaces are missing due to post-depositional corrosion, and the pin is missing due to old breaks. This buckle measures 38.84mm in width, 18.01mm in length, 4.13mm in thickness, and 4.25g in weight. It is similar to examples recorded through the PAS (e.g. NMS-49C702, SUSS-DC8F66, DENO-71B5E2 or SF-3868F6) and from Meols (Griffiths et al., 2007: no. 760) and is of probable c.13th-14th century AD date.
