A cast copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle has an oval frame and a narrowed, offset bar. The pin is missing. The outer edge of the frame has a pointed lip with a deep groove to form the pin rest. The frame is bevelled. There is a transverse ridge with a shallow groove at each side in the centre. The back is flat and has file marks. Dimensions: 19.65 mm x 22.54 mm x 2.68 mm. Weight 1.75g.
