Medieval copper alloy harness pendant suspension mount, 22mm long, 17mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 3.35grams. The object is sub rectangular in form with a rectangular projection and has a rectangular cross section. The object is formed of a circular plate which has a rectangular projection with a central rectangular hole, positioned at its base. This has been folded over onto the reverse to form a hinged suspension. The reverse of the object has one circular sectioned fixing rivet attached, positioned near the top to one side. The face of the object, which was probably circular originally, is decorated with an incised shield shaped motif, possibly containing a lion rampant. This is contained by a circular beaded border, outside of which is a series of short radiating lines.
