Copper alloy vessel fragment. Large cast cauldron leg of tapering triangular section with three longitudinal ridges along its outer side. The leg was integrally cast with the bowl of the vessel, of which a portion remains attached at the top. The external surfaces bear sooting traces from use on a hearth, while the internal surface bears no trace of residue. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1350.
