Incomplete and distorted post-medieval silver button. The sheet head, part of the edge of which is missing, is gently domed with a simple loop soldered to the reverse. A stamp, presumably of a maker, appears near the edge on the front: B S (with the second letter set at 90 degrees to the first). Diameter 22mm. Length 4.3mm. 18th century.
