Copper alloy sprung dolphin brooch that has the remains of a rearwards facing loop at the top of the head that would have held the spring. Undecorated semi-circular wings project either side of the head. The front of the brooch is decorated with two long triangular recessed panels towards the head of the brooch and a moulded knee at the apex of the bow. The lower part of the brooch is truncated. Date 43-100AD
