Possibly a rim fragment of a Roman patera or skillet (pan), probably related to fragments LANCUM-83C97B and LANCUM-8D8AC3 which are from the same field and join. The rim fragment is made from copper alloy and comparatively thin, with a curved rim. The inside is plain, but on the outside, just below the rim is a narrow border frieze, possibly incides. The outer surfaces of both obverse and reverse are covered in concretions.
