A late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy knobbed terret ring dating to the 1st-2nd century AD. The base of the object has a recess which forms the fixing point, this is about 20mm wide and 10mm in diameter. The collars at each end of the strap bar each have a diameter of 12mm. From here the object, which is circular in section, becomes gradually thinner with a minimum diameter of 4mm at the top. The object is decorated with three circular knobs, one at the top opposite the recess and one on each side just above centre. The object has some of the original surfaces surviving as brown, but large patches are missing and corrosion is setting in. Its dimensions are 48mm x48mm and it weighs 31.95 g.
