A Medieval silver coin; a short cross penny of Henry III, Class 7 dating from AD 1217 - 1242. It was struck by Henri at Canterbury. The coin is in two pieces, and has a severe crack, with another part of the coin missing. It is 17.9mm diameter, 0.9mm thick and 1.06g. See North number 978 - 980.
