A group of three flint scrapers of probable Mesolithic date (9000-3450 BC). The lithics are sub-rectangular in profile and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surfaces of the lithics feature multiple negative scars with corresponding arrises. On the ventral surfaces there is faint evidence of a bulb of percussion but no cracking ripples. The proximal portions of the lithics have been semi-abruptly retouched. There is no cortex present and so the lithics are tertiary flakes.
The lithics range in colour from light-dark brown and grey, with cream/white inclusions throughout.
