A body fragment of a lead-alloy vessel of probable post-medieval date. The fragment is triangular and slightly concavo-convex, however the vessel form or diameter cannot be determined. On the exterior of the fragment are two groups of four transverse parallel grooves. These grooves terminate near to but do not reach one of the edges, there is an uneven break across the opposite edge.
The metal is a brown grey colour. The fragment is 22.99mm in length, 17.38mm wide, 2.21mm thick and weighs 5.27g.
