A complete copper alloy late medieval to post-medieval button. It has a simple biconvex head with an integral oval loop extending from the centre of the reverse. It survives in fine condition with a hiny green patina.
See Read (2005, 61-62) for parallels, all of which come from late 15th to 17th century contexts.
