Medieval Anglo-French copper alloy jetton, Obverse shows a shield containing one lion rampant, in a scalloped border. Reverse shows cross with fleur terminals with lions rampant in each quarter. Barnard dated these to 1200-1400AD. Ref.plate II, egs 42 and 43.
