Medieval copper alloy strap mount in the form of a highly stylised human facing mask with a separate rivet and circular rove, and a hollowed reverse. The form and engraved decoration is very close to examples from Westbury and Tattenhoe (Ivens at al. fig. 155, nos. 63-4). Height and width 14.5 and 9.6mm. Thickness (excluding rivet) 3mm. Length of rivet 6mm. 14th century.
