A rim sherd from a medieval coarseware (MCW) vessel. The rim is everted with a flat upper surface creating a v-shape in cross-section. The fabric is hard and coarse with abundant poorly sorted quartz inclusions (<2mm). Both the surfaces and core are oxidised.
