A lead Post Medieval musket ball dating from about AD 1600 - 1800. It is spherical and has a casting sprue which has been trimmed once with nippers. There are deep scratches on the ball which are probably post depositional. It has a cream coloured patina. At 27.6g, this ball fits into the size range that was used in small muskets such as Arquebus and Caliver firearms (Harding, 2012, Lead shot of the English Civil War: a radical study). 16.9mm diameter.
