Grey flint scraper. Thumbnail scraper with broad parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side followed, after an interval of exposure, by covering angled scalar retouch of the dorsal side and with a bulbar ventral surface with a striking platform. Patches of misty patina may suggest the object has endured a period of exposure after its initial deposition, but a shorter period of exposure after its reworking or completion. The Early Bronze Age could accommodate both episodes. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC.
