A fragment of a post-Medieval copper-alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell (1600-1800).
Part of the suspension loop, part of the upper hemisphere and most of the lower hemisphere are missing.
The upper hemisphere appears to be plain and the surviving small portion of the lower hemisphere has a 'sunburst' design.
The outer face has a green patina and old scuff marks. The breaks are old.
