Two fragments of medieval to post-medieval cast cooper alloy cooking vessels, both sooted, weight 273g, 14th - 17th century:

  • Incomplete leg of trapezoidal cross-section but with a strong median rib, tapering to a missing and probably pointed foot. Extant length 71.5mm. Width 39.2 - 34.4 at the top and 21.3 at the break. Thickness 23mm at the top (excluding rib) and 5mm at the break. Weight 236g.
  • Lower leg of sub-rectangular cross-section and foot. Extant length 25mm. Width and thickness at break 25.2 and 7.8mm. Footprint width and length 27 x 14.7. Weight 37g.
