Fragment of a post-medieval cast copper alloy lathe turned candlestick. Broken at upper end, below which the circular-sectioned shaft (11.5mm) swells to a baluster-like moulding (diameter 21mm) with flattish base, below which the narrowed shaft continues (diameter 11mm), has a slight rib and a slightly larger collar before the integral rivet for insertion into a separate base. Extant height 65mm. Weighs 85.76g. 16th-17th century.
